Looking forward...
This coming December, festival fans are invited to our annual Winter concert, A Midwinter Night’s Dream,
on Saturday December 5th during the Christmas In New Harmony celebration. Our performers include fiddler
Brittany Hass, Simon Chrisman on hammered dulcimer and the incredible dancer Nic Gareiss keeping time with his
flying feet! (Fans will remember Simon C. playing with fiddler Jeremy Kittel for Under The Beams back in April of 2014.)
This year and next, the festival will begin raising funds to produce a very special concert in the spring of 2016, From
The French Court To The Cajun Kitchen. This critically acclaimed musical journey, created by festival artist Paul
Woodiel and myself, follows one song from it’s birth in the Dark Ages, across the sea to New France and Quebec,
through Wabash Country and at last into the bayous and backwaters of Cajun Louisiana.
